A combination of Bible study (book of Genesis), fellowship and prayer. Join us to build relationships and experience a greater sense of accountability, encouragement, and care. Coffee and muffins served weekly. Whether you attend GC or not, all men are welcome – no need to sign up, just come!

Join us as we continue reading John Piper’s book, “All that Jesus Commanded: The Christian Life According to the Gospels”. Materials provided. One chapter per week will be read together (short chapters), followed by group discussion on living the Christian life according to Jesus.

All adults and older teens are welcome to join in the fun. Equipment is available to borrow for the evening. No experience needed. Come when you can!

Grace Chapel is partnering with International Crossroads Albany (ICA) to host a special potluck welcome dinner for new international students and scholars from local universities. Please consider joining us for dinner and welcoming these new students and scholars!

Bring a large main dish of your favorite recipe to share. If you cannot join us, consider providing additional food (may be brought to the church after 5pm on Saturday).  We also need people to help with set-up, serving, and clean-up.

A fun program including games and prizes will follow the dinner. Children are welcome (although no childcare will be provided).

The Red Letter Challenge is a 40-day spiritual journey that challenges participants to focus on five key areas of their lives: being, forgiving, serving, giving, going. Each day, participants engage in a different challenge related to one of these areas, with the goal of growing in their faith and becoming more like Jesus. Each week, participants will gather in small groups around the area to review and discuss the prior week’s topic.

• Book cost: $20.00 (available for purchase in the foyer through Dec. 28)
• Payment can be made by cash or check on Sundays or online via our website’s “Give” platform.
• We want to ensure everyone can participate – if assistance with the cost of the book is needed, we are happy to provide a copy to you. Please let the office know.

What To Expect

• Our service lasts about 1 hour and 10 mi. Join us in person or online.
• Messages and live music are engaging and biblically based. All ages enjoy them.
• GC Tots serves children birth-4 yrs. Loving caregivers share age-appropriate Bible stories and oversee playtime. We also have a mothers room available if your little ones would rather be closer to you.
• GC Big Kids is a child focused service geared for K-5th graders that meets at the same time.
• Come just as you are because that’s what we do.

Do you enjoy helping others who are experiencing challenging times? Come help us brainstorm how to effectively reach out to, help, encourage and just “be” with people in need. We serve those within GC and those in the local community with whatever needs exist. Snacks provided. Generally meets on the first Sunday of each month.
