Let’s join together and encourage each other to become “disciples” of the Word, by practicing the “discipline” of reading the word of God on a daily basis!

Participation is encouraged of anyone looking to grow in their knowledge of scripture. All will be reading the same passages throughout the week which will provide some common ground / basis for discussion between one another, ultimately bringing us closer together in community.

Come join in the fun – all player levels welcome including never-evers!

• Don’t have your own equipment? Extra paddles/balls will be on hand for you to borrow for the evening.
• Sneakers recommended.

What To Expect

• Our service lasts about 1 hour and 10 mi. Join us in person or online.
• Messages and live music are engaging and biblically based. All ages enjoy them.
• GC Tots serves children birth-4 yrs. Loving caregivers share age-appropriate Bible stories and oversee playtime. We also have a mothers room available if your little ones would rather be closer to you.
• GC Big Kids is a child focused service geared for K-5th graders that meets at the same time.
• Come just as you are because that’s what we do.

Save the date – it’s movie time again at Grace Chapel!

Join us along with your family and friends to view the movie, Unsung Hero. Based on a remarkable true story, this movie follows David Smallbone as he moves his family from Down Under to the States, searching for a brighter future after his successful music company collapses. With nothing more than their seven children, suitcases, and their love of music, David and his wife Helen set out to rebuild their lives. With their own dreams on hold, David and Helen begin to realize the musical prowess in their children, who would go on to become two of the most successful acts in Inspirational Music history: award-winning artists KING + COUNTRY and Rebecca St. James.

A short time of open discussion will follow. Popcorn will be available!

***Parents: All ages are welcome but we encourage you to research/preview the movie for content and themes in order to make the best decision for your family regarding bringing your children to movie night.

If you are involved in providing care for someone and would appreciate some support as you live out your faith in caregiving, please consider joining us. Anyone who might be caring for someone with dementia, a disability, mental illness, issues of aging, chronic illness, distance caregiving, or ANY type of issue requiring a caregiver is welcome. Generally meets monthly – watch for info on upcoming dates.

A light snack will be provided. If you would like to bring a bag lunch, please feel free to do so.

All at GC are invited to join us for a “Spiritual Strategic Journey”.

We will take steps to discern the Lord’s will, direction, and vision together. It is an intentional process of discerning how we are doing and how we want to grow in ten vital areas of church life and ministry. This process begins with launching “Prayer and Share Triplets” to meet 10 times for 100 minutes over a period of 100 days. They are designed so that together, the following is accomplished:

• Renewed emphasis on worship, prayer, and discerning God’s heart for our church and community
• Build new and deeper relationships as the triplets are formed with individuals who are unrelated and who don’t know one another well already
• Grow together as a faith community as we discuss ten different vital components of church ministry and our own faith journeys
• Embrace God’s vision and direction for our church

Come gather for a time of prayer. All are welcome. Generally meets monthly on the 4th Thursday (with the exception of July – meeting date is Monday, July 22)

Save the date! Our fall retreat will be held Fri. – Sun., Oct. 25-27 at Silver Bay YMCA Conference Center. Our retreat topic is “Freedom in Christ”. Connie Blakelock is our speaker and Cindy Acker will lead our worship music.

Ladies/gals ages 13 years and up are invited.
