Men's Ministry

Calling all men! Join others from GC and several other area churches at this quarterly gathering that is part of a local men’s ministry called Iron Sheep. Experience a time of fellowship, worship & a breakfast of Uncommon Bagels, muffins, coffee, etc. Bring along some friends! Contact Michael Dawdy for more information.

All are welcome to join us as Mary Dahler (our resident plant expert) provides demos and instructions on how to care for and repot plants and will give advice on the best plants for your ability and lifestyle. We hope to send everyone home with a starter plant.

Feel free to bring one of your own plants and larger pot for repotting.

Specific plant questions can be left in the vase at the Welcome Table – answers will be provided at the clinic.

Light refreshments will be available.

What To Expect

• Our service lasts about 1 hour and 10 mi. Join us in person or online.
• Messages and live music are engaging and biblically based. All ages enjoy them.
• GC Tots serves children birth-4 yrs. Loving caregivers share age-appropriate Bible stories and oversee playtime. We also have a mothers room available if your little ones would rather be closer to you.
• GC Big Kids is a child focused service geared for K-5th graders that meets at the same time.
• Come just as you are because that’s what we do.

Do you enjoy helping others who are experiencing challenging times? Come help us brainstorm how to effectively reach out to, help, encourage and just “be” with people in need. We serve those within GC and those in the local community with whatever needs exist. Snacks provided. Generally meets on the first Sunday of each month.

Let’s join together and encourage each other to become “disciples” of the Word, by practicing the “discipline” of reading the word of God on a daily basis!

Participation is encouraged of anyone looking to grow in their knowledge of scripture. All will be reading the same passages throughout the week which will provide some common ground / basis for discussion between one another, ultimately bringing us closer together in community.

A combination of Bible study (book of Genesis), fellowship and prayer. Join us to build relationships and experience a greater sense of accountability, encouragement, and care. Coffee and muffins served weekly. Whether you attend GC or not, all men are welcome – no need to sign up, just come!
