Men's Ministry

Let’s join together and encourage each other to become “disciples” of the Word, by practicing the “discipline” of reading the word of God on a daily basis!

Participation is encouraged of anyone looking to grow in their knowledge of scripture. All will be reading the same passages throughout the week which will provide some common ground / basis for discussion between one another, ultimately bringing us closer together in community.

A combination of Bible study (book of Genesis), fellowship and prayer. Join us to build relationships and experience a greater sense of accountability, encouragement, and care. Coffee and muffins served weekly. Whether you attend GC or not, all men are welcome – no need to sign up, just come!

Join us for J-Term 2025, which will focus on Outreach and Evangelism through presentations and group discussion.

• January 12 – Evangelism (Speaker: Jim Wolford – Jim is the longtime pastor of the Gallupville Gospel Church near Schoharie, NY and has spent several years working for the Billy Graham Evangelist Association training pastors in evangelism.)
• January 19 –  Evangelism (Speaker: Mark Harkness)
• January 26 – Her Song (Speaker: Rachael Marek – Community Engagement Coordinator, Her Song)

What To Expect

• Our service lasts about 1 hour and 10 mi. Join us in person or online.
• Messages and live music are engaging and biblically based. All ages enjoy them.
• GC Tots serves children birth-4 yrs. Loving caregivers share age-appropriate Bible stories and oversee playtime. We also have a mothers room available if your little ones would rather be closer to you.
• GC Big Kids is a child focused service geared for K-5th graders that meets at the same time.
• Come just as you are because that’s what we do.

If you are currently involved in the children’s ministry or are interested in serving in GC Kids or the nursery, please join us to talk about what’s working, what could be done better or differently, and brainstorm other opportunities for this year.

Come gather for a time of prayer. All are welcome. Generally meets monthly on the 4th Thursday (with the exception of July – meeting date is Monday, July 22)

Location: Youth Room

If you are involved in providing care for someone and would appreciate some support as you live out your faith in caregiving, please consider joining us. Anyone who might be caring for someone with dementia, a disability, mental illness, issues of aging, chronic illness, distance caregiving, or ANY type of issue requiring a caregiver is welcome. Generally meets monthly – watch for info on upcoming dates.

A light snack will be provided. If you would like to bring a bag lunch, please feel free to do so.
