Men's Ministry

All are welcome to join in this conversation with other churches as we attempt to learn more about how to work together to support the needs of people in our churches and local community.

Grace Chapel men & men friends – join us and others from around the northeast for a time of:

• REST – Get away from the busyness of life and experience physical, mental, and spiritual rest.
• RENEWAL – Experience renewal as you gain spiritual insight and practical tools to become the man God created you to be.
• REFOCUS – Spend time pausing, reflecting, and refocusing on yourmost important priorities.
• RELATIONSHIP – Strengthen your relationship with other men and with Jesus.

This retreat is a major step forward on maturing men into great “co-laborers” in the Kingdom. Worship times, teaching times, rest times, mealtimes – this weekend helps you to disengage for a purpose and that purpose will have you reengaging with new strength and purpose. View retreat flyer.

If you are involved in providing care for someone and would appreciate some support as you live out your faith in caregiving, please consider joining us. Anyone who might be caring for someone with dementia, a disability, mental illness, issues of aging, chronic illness, distance caregiving, or ANY type of issue requiring a caregiver is welcome. Generally meets monthly – watch for info on upcoming dates.

A light snack will be provided. If you would like to bring a bag lunch, please feel free to do so.

All at GC are invited to join us for a “Spiritual Strategic Journey”.

We will take steps to discern the Lord’s will, direction, and vision together. It is an intentional process of discerning how we are doing and how we want to grow in ten vital areas of church life and ministry. This process begins with launching “Prayer and Share Triplets” to meet 10 times for 100 minutes over a period of 100 days. They are designed so that together, the following is accomplished:

• Renewed emphasis on worship, prayer, and discerning God’s heart for our church and community
• Build new and deeper relationships as the triplets are formed with individuals who are unrelated and who don’t know one another well already
• Grow together as a faith community as we discuss ten different vital components of church ministry and our own faith journeys
• Embrace God’s vision and direction for our church

This is a church-wide event to share information that we have gathered with the congregation on Women in Leadership and will include speakers presenting both positions. Please mark this day on your calendars.

This event will likely run from 9am to 3pm, with a break in the middle for lunch. The whole-church format will allow us all to hear the same information at the same time and to listen to each other’s respectful questions and comments. Our intent is to follow this presentation with some small group opportunities to allow for further discussion of this topic.

We encourage all members and attendees at Grace Chapel attend.
