Women's Ministry

Let’s join together and encourage each other to become “disciples” of the Word, by practicing the “discipline” of reading the word of God on a daily basis!

Participation is encouraged of anyone looking to grow in their knowledge of scripture. All will be reading the same passages throughout the week which will provide some common ground / basis for discussion between one another, ultimately bringing us closer together in community.

Join us as we continue reading John Piper’s book, “All that Jesus Commanded: The Christian Life According to the Gospels”. Materials provided. One chapter per week will be read together (short chapters), followed by group discussion on living the Christian life according to Jesus.

What To Expect

• Our service lasts about 1 hour and 10 mi. Join us in person or online.
• Messages and live music are engaging and biblically based. All ages enjoy them.
• GC Tots serves children birth-4 yrs. Loving caregivers share age-appropriate Bible stories and oversee playtime. We also have a mothers room available if your little ones would rather be closer to you.
• GC Big Kids is a child focused service geared for K-5th graders that meets at the same time.
• Come just as you are because that’s what we do.

All at GC are invited to join us for a “Spiritual Strategic Journey”.

We will take steps to discern the Lord’s will, direction, and vision together. It is an intentional process of discerning how we are doing and how we want to grow in ten vital areas of church life and ministry. This process begins with launching “Prayer and Share Triplets” to meet 10 times for 100 minutes over a period of 100 days. They are designed so that together, the following is accomplished:

• Renewed emphasis on worship, prayer, and discerning God’s heart for our church and community
• Build new and deeper relationships as the triplets are formed with individuals who are unrelated and who don’t know one another well already
• Grow together as a faith community as we discuss ten different vital components of church ministry and our own faith journeys
• Embrace God’s vision and direction for our church

All at GC are invited to join in our Christmas Potluck. Sign-ups begin on Nov. 24 at the Welcome Table. All are asked to bring a dish or two to share. More information to come.

If you are involved in providing care for someone and would appreciate some support as you live out your faith in caregiving, please consider joining us. Anyone who might be caring for someone with dementia, a disability, mental illness, issues of aging, chronic illness, distance caregiving, or ANY type of issue requiring a caregiver is welcome. Generally meets monthly – watch for info on upcoming dates.

A light snack will be provided. If you would like to bring a bag lunch, please feel free to do so.

NOTE: All ages come together for worship at this service. While childcare is not provided, our nursery will be open for parents to use as needed and the service will be streamed into the nursery so all can hear.
