On Wednesday, July 27, emails with a sending address similar to our "gracecp.org" email addresses have been used to request the recipient purchase gift cards and email the 16 digit codes back and/or states there is a situation that needs to be handled discreetly, which if followed up on ends up in a financial based request. Please be aware that many different email scams abound so if something seems even the slightest bit out of the ordinary, do not act on the request. No one in leadership at Grace Chapel will ever send you an email request to purchase gift cards, send money, etc. on our behalf. Please disregard all emails of this type now and in the future.

January Congregational Meeting with Missions Focus

January 30, 2022

6:00pm – 8:00pm

Location: 996 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065

Category: Missions Church Gathering

All are encouraged to attend our upcoming Congregational Meeting with a focus on Missions and Outreach. The Elders will also be addressing the congregation regarding other important business matters. Childcare will not be available.

Exciting updates and changes will be shared regarding our missionaries and those making transitions. Come hear the latest info on our local outreach programs and join the discussion regarding potential opportunities for Grace to participate in incredible new ministries around the world. If you are relatively new to GC, this is an excellent way to hear first-hand testimonies of those in the field and the unique way we financially and prayerfully support our missionaries. 2022 Partner Ministry Plans/Goals and the 2022 Missions Giving Proposal will be emailed prior to the meeting.

The Elders are recommending that Chase Trusnovec be appointed to the position of Associate Pastor of Family Ministries as soon as a local Grace Chapel ordination service is administered to him in the coming weeks. This requires an in-person congregational member vote at the meeting

  • This recommendation recognizes Chase’s outstanding performance in his current position, his assistance to Pastor Josh serving the needs of the congregation, and in addition, an expanded role in administering communion and participating in baptism.
  • There will be no change in Chase’s salary, but the Elders believe he will be eligible for a favorable housing allowance tax status which is available for ministerial staff under federal IRS guidelines.
