Lives transformed through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It's as simple as that. We want to see people encounter Jesus and his life-transforming power. This means we want to be a church that is oriented around three things: Jesus, Community, and Mission.

Jesus is the center and goal of the universe. Everything exists by him and through him and for him. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we deserved to die that we might glorify and enjoy God forever. Because of who Jesus is and what he has done, we trust the absolute authority of the Scriptures, which testify to him; we express our dependence on God through prayer; we repent of sin, reject false gods, and worship Jesus as a lifestyle wherever we live, work, and play.

We are a community, created by the gospel, and the gospel is a power to be experienced within community. It's through Jesus that we are united together, though we are very different. We live as a community by gathering together regularly, opening our homes and lives, eating meals together, cultivating a grace-centered environment, caring for each other's needs, and welcoming seekers and skeptics to our community (even if they don't believe yet).

God's mission to spread his glory all over the world as the waters cover the sea is the ultimate purpose for which we were created. Jesus saves us from sin and death but not to keep it all to ourselves. Now, we are ambassadors to spread the good news about him. We live on mission by spreading the good news of Jesus in word and deed, seeking to serve our neighbors; we listen to those who have questions about God; we give generously to meet the needs of others; we work against injustice, oppression, and poverty in our region and around the world.
